All The Light We Cannot See is a film adaptation of Anthony Doer’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, which follows the journey of Marie-Laure (played by Aria Mia Loberti), a young blind girl and her father, Daniel LeBlanc (played by Mark Ruffalo). The two flee from German-occupied Paris with a valuable diamond, trying to keep it away from the Nazis. However, they are relentlessly pursued by a cruel Gestapo officer who desires to possess the precious stone for his own selfish reasons. Eventually, Marie-Laure and her father find refuge in St. Malo, where they live with a reclusive uncle who secretly transmits radio broadcasts as part of the resistance against the Nazi regime.
In addition to Aria Mia Loberti portraying Marie-Laure, Nell Sutton also plays her character in her younger years. Lars Eidinger takes on the role of Von Rumpel, while Marion Bailey plays Madame Manec in the film adaptation of All The Light We Cannot See.
